Our Brand

Allison Anthonisz' roots began on a small island  also known as the Pearl of the Indian ocean, Sri-Lanka. An island that grounded her in her younger years through the many distinct south asian sights, smells, music and the grit of consistent hard work. During the civil war in 1984 Allison’s family migrated to Australia.  

New beginnings ahead, but still the same girl from Colombo at heart Allison credits her flare for design and the arts to her passion for the ocean,  90s  r&b and hip hop music, fashion and bold cultures having also lived in Toronto, London, Japan and most recently New York City for the last 18 years. 

A signature style of natural confidence, structured lines and striking femininity is apparent in her collections. Drawn to the narrative threaded into prints the Allison Anthonisz brand embraces storytelling through design with a focus on producing resort wear that matters.  Each piece of our line is sustainably sourced and made ethically by a small team of minority superwomen based in New York City.  

The Allison Anthonisz brand are women across the globe who embrace movement and style through adventure, confidence and self love who are drawn to bold silhouettes and striking prints that make every woman feel like summer all year round. 

Allison is committed to doing her part to preserve our planet and supporting the community of talented women who make each of the pieces you wear with a goal to drive social impact opportunities in New York and expand to other underserved communities.  Currently her fabrics are sustainably sourced and made to order in New York City. We hope our passion through design and storytelling inspires you to adventure unafraid and dance like no one is watching just as you are.
